Font Xplorer is a useful tool for those who have an innumerable number of fonts installed on their system and need to find a specific one. Not only does this application have the common functions that are built into Windows, it also has tools you would rarely use.
The main interface is quite simple to navigate. It shows you a list of all the fonts installed in your system as well as a preview of those fonts. You can increase or decrease the size of the preview if you need to.
The search functions are something that adds even more value to this application. There is the standard "Find" function which is what most users would use and there is the more advanced "Filter" function which can limit the number of fonts displayed on the screen and so on.
If you need to send fonts to a friend or to an employer then the handy "Copy Font" and "Move Font" functions are useful. The two most used locations i.e. Desktop and the system fonts folder, are built into the "Copy" and "Move" menus making it easier to save fonts. There is a useful "Install Fonts" option in the "Tools" menu making it easy to install any new fonts you come across. And if you need to remove certain fonts then there is an "Uninstall" option as well.
Overall Font Xplorer is a very handy tool that can save time. It is not only useful for users who have many fonts but also for the normal user who needs to find a certain font for certain things such as styling a document and so on.
